Quick start

A Nexus Telemetry Fleet collector runs on a host on the same network as your Starlink terminal. It reads the terminal at 192.168.100.1 and sends the readings to your fleet server. The dashboard shows every terminal in one view.

Get started

Requirements

  • A host on the terminal’s network that reaches 192.168.100.1. The terminal can be in Bypass mode.
  • Outbound internet from that host. The host requires no inbound connection, no port forwarding and no firewall rule.
  • Docker, or Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL, Fedora, macOS or Windows, on that host.

Steps

  1. Sign up at the console with your email and company name.
  2. Add a managed fleet server. To run your own, see Install.
  3. Choose your team’s sign-in address, <name>.nexustelemetry.net. It cannot be changed later.
  4. Sign in at that address with your email address as the username and the one-time password the console shows, then set your own password.
  5. Press Add telemetry collector, name the terminal, press Generate Token, then run the command for the host’s platform on the host. See Add a collector.

Once the collector has connected to the fleet server, the terminal appears on the dashboard. See Dashboard for the states and the views.
